Hours of Operation:

The clinic is typically open from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday; and Saturday by Appointment only. However, each AFCS associate establishes an independent schedule and some offer early morning, evening and weekend appointments on a limited basis.

Our office staff is generally available between 10 am - 1 pm and 2 pm - 6 pm.  At times when your call cannot be answered, please leave a message in Voice Mailbox if you are a new caller interested in our services.

Direction:

AFCS is conveniently located in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland in a five-story office building at 1400 Spring St.  AFCS is on the edge of the business district, only two blocks from restaurants, cafés and shops.

By Metro

To reach the Center by Metro, take the Red Line to the Silver Spring station. From the train platform, take the South (buses) exit.  When you exit the station, head north on Colesville Road (in the direction of the Discovery Channel world headquarters which you'll see just ahead, adjacent to the Metro station). Take a left on Georgia Ave, walking three blocks to Spring Street. Turn left and continue one block to 1400 Spring St. Plan for a 10-minute walk.

By Car

From the Washington Beltway, take the Georgia Ave. Exit South (Exit 31). Continue a little over one mile to the traffic signal at Spring St. on the edge of the business district. Turn right on Spring St., you'll see the 1400 Spring St building on your left after you pass Second Street (or as soon as you pass the Bank of America.) 

Parking Information

Metered Parking is conveniently on the street. A parking garage is immediately ahead on if you take a left on Second Street.
